The Our Porn, Ourselves contest prizes: ten luxurious packages

You’ve seen my Feminists Against Porn sendup video (if you haven’t, watch it right now) about women, porn, and the June 12 conference from anti-porn feminist organization Stop Porn Culture. In the video I also explain how you can show your support by taking a photo or making a video, and It goes like this:

Make a short video that tells us you are pro-porn, and upload the video to your favorite video sharing website. This is where you get to tell us “I’m pro-porn and I vote!” When you’re done, Tweet the location (URL) of the video with the hashtag #proporn. The deadline is June 12. Ten winners will be selected, and all genders are encouraged to contribute.

I’m astonished at the generosity of our supporters — our community.

Five winners receive the Our Porn, Ourselves Dream Package (some links below are not work-safe; all pornography is from feminist-identified women):

I love my Porn – deal with it – I am a Feminist, a Business Owner and I love Porn. For some reason, the “business owner” thing rang loud in my head today.

I hope whomever wins the swing we donated – makes some porn with it – even if only for their own home use.

I cannot believe we are still having this discussion in 2010 about whether porn is degrading and harmful. No one is FORCED to make porn. No one is FORCED to watch porn. And, if you know bad ass women like Madison Young and Tristan Taormino – well those women aren’t taking any shit from anyone and they are as liberated as they come…. and business owners, too.

Keep on kicking down the doors, Violet. We all need you.
